Jérôme Ruffin, Philippe Dessertene, Franck Revert and Pierre Lundin won the 46th edition of the Rouen 24h. The F2boat.com boat had an very bad accident, and crashed with a rescueboat in the night. Link to site here

Meetings over.
The 2009 Goal and Vision meeting is over for me. I will now fly home to Norway. Im impressed by the vision of our President. I m confident that he will re structure the UIM to a streamlined organization. Nicolo San Germano was also invited, and he was pleased as well. Many interesting discussions, so lets contrebute towards succsess in a re united sport!
Rouen 24h stopped after accident
The 24h Rouen is stopped after an accident, with among others the F2boat.com boat where apparently also a resqueboat is invloved. We are coming back with more information as we get info.

Interesting meeting.
It has been an fantastic day, and espesially since the guys are leading the 24h as well. Its a pleasure to see how the UIM wants to develope its organication. Tbc. . .

After 1h, my fantastic friends is leading the event. 10 boats have chrashed, and is out! Great action ! Thank u Baptiste. Now Its JBs leg. .

Early start. .
It was an early start today. The alarm was set for 04.45 – and I was on schedule. Well, I thougt so anyway. .
That was till I realized I forgot my phone.. I had to pick it up, and I Missed my train!
Anyway, now some 1h later I catched another one and Im back on track. Its going to be an interesting day, A BiG DAY!
I will fly to stockholm and join up with the UIM council members and President Chiulli, and for the next 24h I will travel with them to Helsinki Finland.
The council have their Golden Vison seminar. Well, wait to hear from us more during the day. In Helsinki I will catch up with a few friends, before I fly off to Copenhagen and finally back home by 10, sunday night. Ciao, F

Rouen 24 start tomorrow 14.00!
Today the 46th edition of the 24h de Rouen will start. I was in the lineup, but comitments have forced me to make priority. I will meet the council of the UIM and President Dr Raffaele Chiulli in Stockholm. Together we will sign the agreement on a united powerboat family in Norway.
BUT, The F2boat.com team is represented by JB Thomas, Domenick Thomas and Baptiste Philippe.
The race will start @ 14 today, and we will do our best to give an update every 1/2 – to 1 hour regarding the event.

Good and Bad news..
Today I have to share a good mix of good and bad news with you.
The bad news is, I will not race in Rouen. I have to attend a meeting, and this has priority over my racing. . However, my team will race. F2boat.com will participate with JB Thomas, Baptiste and Domenick. A very very strong team.
We will update around the clock, and keep the best update witch is every done from a team racing in Rouen.
So, the good news. Well, I guess you already figured out by looking at my photo that we have once again a new record on the F2boat.com site. 154 564 uniqe visitors is fantastic. For a small sport like powerboating, F2boat.com is the place to be promoted :)
Well, thats it for today folks, I have to prepare for a busy weekend.

Roy Øwre is re elected in Norwegian Motorsport Federation, (NMF) as our President. He will serve us for the next 4 years. We, the Norwegian Powerboat federation, as members of NMF gives our full support, and we are pleased to work with Mr Øwre.
