Personally I do not like the idea, I want the two classes separate. Nicolo is a good F1 promoter, but I doubt his intention for F2.
Im sure he will do a better job for F1 is he “leave us alone” but I will call him and ask !

I'm a long time pilot in small class in Italy, and really we are arrived at the point the Powerboating is a Bussines, the cost that one team must invest each year to race it's to much, and the return is near to zero, in some country maybe have a little be more returns.
The real problem for me is the ENGINE, we speacking about F1 & F2, but the engine is one Mercury, we speacking about F1 & F2 where we have some boat builder that risck, invest money in development in material, safety etc......but regarding the engine ???? I never see a great presence of Mercury, just Mr. Nico for to do a bussines and no more. The nautical market is oriented in outboard at 4T, 2T is really out. Some of you never Tinked at in a big paddock area with a Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, Mercury, Mariner, Evinrude Truck & Tent Hospitality, with own team or client team, like Moto GP that he reborned in the last 5 years.
Where outboard company compete in development and support the team and pilot, to arrive at the target...WIN..
I suggest to ri-oriented the future of Powerboating in this way, the future promoter or company promoters, offered a big show and returns at Outboards company,
where he can invest money, adverting, spot, involve dealer, involve TV, nautical press etc......
Uim is like FIA, put just the rule of the game, but the promoters is the life of the F1, with big compromise with the team and driver.
One day maybe I can see this to be reality.

Hi, I publish all relevant information. People have to take their own decition. Its clear to me that he F2 class is very populare. "everybody" want it, and that is good, if UIM do their job correct.
